USConnect announced it has appointed Carmen Gorniak, RD, CD to lead the USConnect health and wellness initiative The Right Choice...For A Healthier You. USConnect is a consortium of independent vending and food service operators linked by a common wireless network and support structure.
Gorniak is a Registered and Certified Dietitian with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is also currently a candidate for a Masters of Science in Nutrition at the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut. Gorniak has extensive experience in the vending and food service industry having designed the original The Right Choice...For A Healthier You program and assisted with implementation of the program at numerous client locations. During her travels her message has been that the goal is to balance healthier choices with portioned comfort for overall wellness strategies.
