Massachusetts Vending Machines Rent Bike Helmets

Vending machines called HelmetHubs will allow cyclists in Boston, Mass. to rent bicycle helmets, according to Forbes. A team of recent MIT graduates created the machines in response to the public need for helmets with the increasing number of bike-sharing riders. Each machine can hold 36 unisize helmets with adjustable straps. All helmets are equipped with a radio-frequency identification chip that allows users to return the helmet through a door on the machine. Full article.
