Vietnam Coffee Crop Production Falls 15 Percent From 2012, 2013

The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association reported that Vietnam’s coffee production decreased 15 percent compared to the same period last year, according to Vietnam Investment Review. Drought and disease have influenced this decline. Vietnam’s exports have also fallen 11.2 percent from October 2012 to September 2013. The U.S. is the second largest buyer of Vietnamese coffee.
