Vend Marketing: Chocolate Brand Asks People To Hold Hands For Free Candy Bars In Argentina

As part comment on the affect of technology on social interaction and part marketing ploy, Milka Chocolate Brand placed a vending machine in Argentina that required people to hold hands to receive free candy bars, according to AdWeek. People had to connect the Milka icon - a purple cow - with the machine by way of linking hands before it would dispense free chocolate bars. Each time candy was dispensed, the cow moved further away, requiring more people to hold hands. Full article and video.
