California City Council Passes New Vending Product Restrictions

Vending machines on city property will be required to be 75 percent stocked with drinks and snacks considered low in sugar, salt and fat due to a recent vote by the San Jose, Calif. city council, according to San Jose Mercury News. The vote was 6 to 3 for the requirement that raised the 2006 requirement for only 50 percent healthy vending products in the machines. Full article.
