Pumpkin Becomes Fall Food Trend For 2013

While in previous years, the fall favorite was apple, recently foods with pumpkin or pumpkin spice have taken over as the consumer preferred food trend, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. The trend started a few years ago and has steadily grown. Research from 2012 showed that out of the seasonal items introduced last fall, 105 were pumpkin related while only 45 were apple based.
