California Raises Minimum Wage To $10 Per Hour

California lawmakers have voted to increase the minimum wage from $8 an hour to $10 an hour by the year 2016, according to Nation’s Restaurant News. The bill, AB10, was approved by both the state assembly and state senate. It is the first minimum wage increase California has had in five years. Full article.
