Single Cup Coffee Releases Six New Single Serve Cups

Sept. 10, 2013

Single Cup Coffee Ltd. (SCC) announced the release of a collection of six new coffees from the Authentic Donut Shop Blend collection. These Keurig®-compatible cups are available in the traditional 24-count format for the office coffee and e-commerce channel, according to the press release.

“Everybody loves this brand,” said Bill Cook, SCC’s eastern U.S. director of sales, in a prepared statement. “The combination of the fun, retro look and the upgraded quality of these coffees has made them a winner from coast-to-coast.”

The new line of single serve cups includes: original roast, original dark, decaffeinated, vanilla hazelnut, vanilla hazelnut decaf and chocolate chip cookie.

Although the line isn’t being marketed as Extra Bold, the cups contain more coffee than most competitive products along with other proprietary specifications developed by SCC.

“We’re already seeing conversions away from other Donut Shop products to our line based on the bigger taste profile and the dark roast option,” commented Kirk Wilder, SCC’s western U.S. director of sales. “I love the look on people’s faces when they compare our coffees to what they’re used to!”

SCC develops and markets a wide variety of premium quality products that satisfy the snowballing consumer demand for single-serve beverages. The company offers programs for office coffee, vending, e-commerce, retail and hospitality channels. Single serve coffee cups are packaged in the U.S.
