Gevalia Introduces Specialty Drink K-Cups Using Real Milk

Sept. 9, 2013

Gevalia announced the introduction of new single-serve cafe-style coffee beverages - including Cappuccino, Mocha Latte and Caramel Macchiato varieties - all made from real milk, for use in the Keurig® K-Cup® brewer.

"With the explosive growth of single-cup coffee, we know that premium coffee drinkers want convenience, without sacrificing quality or taste," said Tracy Sinclair, director of premium coffee at Kraft, in a prepared statement. "These new Gevalia cafe-style beverages deliver the deliciously unexpected and delightfully innovative experience that consumers have come to expect from Gevalia."

This breakthrough Gevalia product allows coffee drinkers to pour the froth packet, made from real milk, into a mug. Then customers can brew the rich, never bitter Gevalia Espresso Roast single-serve cup in a Keurig K-Cup brewer, according to the release.

Gevalia cafe-style beverages come in three varieties, all made from real milk:

Mocha Latte – A creamy, perfectly balanced blend of cocoa and coffee topped with a velvety layer of foam

Caramel Macchiato – Creamy and smooth, with the indulgent flavor of caramel, topped with a velvety layer of foam

Cappuccino – Smooth, mildly sweet with subtle roasted coffee notes, topped with a velvety layer of foam

Gevalia cafe-style beverages are available for purchase in six packs and nine packs at retailers nationwide as well as online at Gevalia.com.
