Aug. 29: National Fast-Food Worker Walkout Day

Due to support via social media, fast-food and retail workers from eight cities across the U.S. are staging a national strike on Aug. 29, 2013, according to the Washington Post. The workers are asking for an increased wage of $15 an hour and the right to form a union. Full article.
