Quench Adds New Ice Machines In Five U.S. Markets

Aug. 15, 2013

Quench, a provider of filtered drinking water coolers and ice dispensers in North America, has announced that it will add a line of high-capacity ice machines in five markets beginning this week. The Quench 990 and Quench 994 are high-capacity bin ice machines that produce 350 and 485 pounds of cubed ice per day, respectively, and can store more than 300 pounds of ice. The Quench 992 and Quench 996 offer the same high capacity with the added benefit of sanitary, hands-free dispensing. All four ice machines are equipped with state-of-the-art water filtration technology, as well as antimicrobial protection and reverse osmosis filtration.

“High-capacity ice bins and dispensers are a natural addition to Quench’s product line. Many of our existing clients, particularly those in the hotel, food service, healthcare, and warehouse/distribution industries require large quantities of ice, and demand the same filtration standards for their ice that they do for drinking water,” said Todd Peterson, Quench chief operating officer, in a prepared statement.

The Quench 990 series ice machines initially will be available in Philadelphia, Pa., Atlanta, Ga., Phoenix, Az., Los Angeles, Calif. and North Florida, with additional markets slated for launch in the coming months.
