Manufacturers To Spend $50 Million For ‘Facts Up Front’ Labeling Program

Large food companies are launching a $50 million campaign aimed to grow acceptance of the front-of-package labeling program called “Facts Up Front” which began in 2011, according to AdAge. Funded by members of the Grocery Manufacturers Association and the Food Marketing Institute, the participants hope it will change their image among consumers and keep lawmakers from creating more regulations.
