NAMA's Government Affairs Team Warns New Proposed Legislation May Raise Prices For Vending Industry

NAMA has responded to recently proposed legislation from Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., that would end tax breaks for suppliers selling food outside federal dietary guidelines.

“Upon initial review of media coverage referencing the proposed legislation, we are concerned with its potential impact on the food and beverage industry and consumer choice. We will monitor this legislation and keep membership apprised on this and similar legislation which could negatively affect our industry and consumers, “said Eric Dell, NAMA’s senior vice president of government affairs.
