NAMA Takes Micro Market Operations Seminar On The Road

July 5, 2013

NAMA recently announced its new micro market operations seminar is going on the road, with its first stop in Chicago, Ill. on August 13 to 14, 2013, followed by Philadelphia, Pa. on August 21 to 22 and Welcome, N.C., from September 4 to 5. A West Coast date has not yet been determined.

“The micro market operations seminar is a must-attend for any operator, whether they have zero or 100 micro markets,” said Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s director education/certification said, in a prepared statement. “This two day seminar is operations-focused with in-depth details, specifics and how-to’s on micro markets. Topics range from merchandising and promotions to technology and fresh/fresh frozen food options. NAMA’s Micro Market Operational Guidelines, a new manual available during the seminar, will provide an in-depth overview of micro markets including merchandising, operations, systems, support services and more.”

On top of being a great educational value, the networking opportunities are outstanding, according to NAMA. Operators, suppliers and micro market equipment operators will meet face-to-face at this event.

DeNardis said there will be an introduction session for operators with zero to five units installed. “This optional session will ensure all the basics on micro markets are covered to help those operators get up to speed with the rest of the seminar,” she said.

Program presenters include Brad Bachtelle, president of Bachtelle & Associates, Jerry McVety, president of McVety & Associates and Dr. Mike Kasavana, NAMA’s endowed professor at Michigan State University.

Registration details are forthcoming. Interested attendees can contact DeNardis at [email protected] for more information. Companies interested in sponsoring the seminar can contact Sue Ralston at [email protected].
