Three Square Market (32M), a subsidiary of TW Vending of Hudson, Wis., announced that beginning immediately, all future growth of its state of the art micro market kiosk technology will be done through wholesale equipment distributors. While reception of the Three Square technology has been swift and overwhelmingly positive, Three Square believes that utilizing a well established supply chain will best service current and future clients.
“We have been a vending company since 1995, a jail services provider since 1998 and have a valued two decade relationship with our original vending supplier” said CEO of TW Vending, Todd Westby in a prepared statement. “We can try and replicate their relationships across the country in a labor intensive effort or we can utilize their expertise, relationships and resources to rapidly grow our brand. This was a no brain decision and we were thrilled with the reception we received in making this idea a reality.”
Three Square has developed an initial core group of distributors who will be launching this initiative in more than 30 states. While final details remain including adding additional distributors in parts of the county not covered by this core group, Three Square is equipping this initial group and its sales teams with showroom displays, mobile demonstration kiosks and a best in class price structure. "We will be announcing our initial team of distributors later this week after we have completed their training so they can hit the ground running next week fully armed and trained to sell what our brand offers" added Westby.
Three Square offers a wide variety of kiosk types, market layouts and service. “And our technology isn’t new” said Three Square Vice President Patrick McMullan. “While much of the micro market technology is two years old or less, our system is built on the same backbone and processes of our corrections industry kiosk system that has been in place since 2002. Our smart phone apps have been in place since 2010 and we will continue to lead both of our business to be the cutting edge provider of technology, reporting, inventory management and performance” added McMullan.
According to the company, Three Square has a pricing structure that has changed how the market can look at potential sites. “We manufacture our own kiosks and own all of our technology” added Mr. Westby. “Our kiosks are 60-70 percent below the existing market prices thus we have opened the door for vending operators to look at sites as low as 50 employees. This has dramatically increased potential sites for all operators and we believe that our valued distributor partners will now be able to quickly capture market share through their long-standing relationships and convert numerous accounts previously untouched".
Three Square is already reporting to be making its’ mark in the micro market arena with over 130 new markets slated to open by August and another 150 markets being planned. “Only one other technology provider is working with this gold mine of relationships” added Joe Williamson, National Sales Manager for Three Square. “We are going to make this the staple of our course of growth and allow operators nationwide to leverage the long-standing relationship they have had with their distributors to help re-engineer their vending business”.
