Volanté Systems has recently announced that it has been chosen as the primary point of sale (POS) provider by American Food & Vending’s REFRESH express - a new self-serve vending kiosk commonly called a micro market. Now up and running in more than 90 of AFV’s sites, Volanté’s feature-rich restaurant software solution promises to greatly enhance REFRESH express operations, according to the company.

“We look at our relationship with American Food & Vending as a partnership in every sense of the word,” said Volanté’s Vice President of Sales, Annette Ennamorato in a prepared statement.” We’ve earned a reputation in the hospitality industry for providing comprehensive software solutions, along with research, development and ongoing customer support.”

Volanté Systems says it prides itself on offering flexible and functional restaurant POS technology that is easily adaptable to meet each customer’s retail requirements. Its goal as a company is to enhance the customer experience and to allow for better management ability for its clients.

American Food & Vending is one of the country’s largest privately held corporate culinary and refreshment providers servicing hundreds of thousands of people every day throughout 35 cities nationwide. Its REFRESH express is a new self-service market providing high quality food and beverage in the modern workplace, according to the company. In order to operate successfully, American Food & Vending required POS technology that would allow for seamless self-service and an exceptional customer experience.

“Volanté Systems is feature rich plus the company is extremely flexible and responsive to all of our needs which includes Enterpirse POS and kiosk integration,” said Jamie Butts, IT director for American Food & Vending.
