Convenience Store Sales Reach More Than $700 Billion Last Year

At the NACS State of the Industry Summit, an event providing data and insights into the convenience and fuel retailing industry, the sales for the convenience store industry were revealed to be $700.3 billion in 2012, according to Convenience Store News. In-store sales increased 2.2 percent to $199.3 billion in 2012, and were driven by product segments such as alternative snacks, cold beverages and sweet snacks. Full article.
