Eric Dell To Present Legislative Update At NYSAVA Meeting

March 19, 2013

Eric Dell, NAMA’s senior vice president of government affairs will present a legislative update at the New York State Automatic Vending Association (NYSAVA) meeting to be held Wednesday, March 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Clifton Park, N.J.

Dell’s presentation will include a discussion of federal, state and local advocacy efforts on wide-ranging issues including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) calorie disclosure, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) federal school nutrition requirements, beverage restriction, taxes and more.

“New York is literally a hotbed of legislative activity related to our industry and our members today. We’ll provide a perspective on how we can continue to collectively protect vending and refreshment services from potentially harmful legislation now and in the future,” said Dell in a prepared statement.

“I personally look forward to meeting with our NYSAVA members and hearing directly from them about how our NAMA Government Affairs team can continue to deliver value. More than anything else, working together is the best way to build on the work NAMA has done and this meeting is an important part of that ongoing process,” he continued.
