Avanti Markets Second Operator Meeting Draws 150 Attendees

March 12, 2013

Avanti Markets held its second annual operator meeting in Dallas, Texas from March 5 to 6. The meeting included a day and a half of education sessions, round table discussions, and the launch of many new features/programs for all the operators. With over 150 attendees including operators, suppliers and vendors, Avanti was able to deliver an exciting two-day experience. “The meeting in Dallas was phenomenal," said Vik Wasu, manager for PVS Distributors in Northern California, in a prepared statement. "Learning about the future direction of Avanti is important, especially with so many competitors on the horizon.”

Throughout the meeting suppliers also got involved in educating operators of the different micro market programs available. “The supplier programs are proof that manufacturers’ are taking this segment seriously,” added Wasu.

Highlights of the meeting included Avanti’s president, Chris Vicari, talking to operators on the first day about new features launching in 2013. Some of these new features were launched at the meeting and will be available for operators to see at the NAMA One Show this April.

There was also a round table discussion where operators were able to network and talk through the takeaway’s during the education sessions and come up with additional question to ask during the panel session.

For Avanti, it was not only important for industry leaders to be present at the meeting, but for operators to learn from each other. Networking is one of the strongest take-aways that Avanti operators have when they come to the annual operator meeting, according to the company. “Our goal is to provide value to their business, continue to drive this new segment in a profitable and sustainable way, and insure the Avanti family remains the market innovator/leader” said Vicari.
