Suncoast Coffee Service And Vending Profiled In Best Selling Author’s New Book

Suncoast Coffee Service And Vending has been profiled in a new book by Mark Sanborn, author of New York Times best seller The Fred Factor, for the company’s innovative Making People Better (MPB) reading program, in which they pay their employees a bonus of $50.00 to read each month.

The newly released book, Fred 2.0: New Ideas on How to Keep Delivering Extraordinary Results, includes the following statement:  “The company’s reading program is a prime example of their commitment to 'Freducation.'"   The book also recognizes Suncoast Coffee Service and Vending and owners Robert Kantor and Jason Sluka for their unique mission of creating happiness, and their commitment to a culture of continuous learning and wellness.

“We are so pleased to be featured in a book that is all about being extraordinary and making people better.  Our Making People Better (MPB) reading program is one example of how we are dedicated to continually improving our culture and making learning a lifetime priority,” said Robert Kantor, CEO, in a prepared statement.

The Making People Better office reading program has been in place since 2011 at Suncoast Coffee Service and Vending.  Books read include Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh, The Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
