Colombian coffee growers have been on strike for over a week demanding government aid for coffee bean selling prices, according to Colombia Report News. Fedecafe, or Colombia’s coffee growers federation, reports that due to inflated coffee prices and an expensive peso, the coffee producers have been forced to sell beans at below production cost.
