American Companies Slow To Incorporate Sustainability

A study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Boston Consulting Group found that more than one-third of companies worldwide are profiting from their sustainability efforts, an increase of more than 20 percent from the previous year, according to Bloomberg. However, North America has the lowest percentage of companies changing their business models for sustainability as well as the lowest percentage of reported profits. The research cites the reason as a lack of demand for sustainability efforts. Full article.
