Alula, a kiosk that accepts unwanted gift cards for cash, is making a debut at a grocery retailer in Ohio, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Alula accepts more than 170 types of cards and offers between 60 to 85 percent of the face value. It delivers a voucher to the user, who takes it to a check-out line or customer service desk to receive cash. Full article.
