Poll: 60 Percent Of American Oppose Anti-Obesity Food Taxes

A recent poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research showed that many Americans believe the government should take steps to stop obesity, but more than half opposed using soda and fat taxes, according to the Washington Post. A majority, 70 to 80 percent, did agree with steps like adding more physical education in schools and requiring restaurants to post calorie counts on menus. Full article.
