Bolla Market, a high-end chain of New York City area convenience stores, is planning to switch to offering only top-quality, artisanal specialty coffee certified to be organic, Fair Trade, and the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center’s Bird Friendly shade grown standards for all its coffee offerings. According to the release, in doing so, the company will become one of the largest, if not the only, c-store chains to offer only organic-, Fair Trade-, and Bird Friendly-certified specialty coffee in the U.S.
The company is holding two events, one in Brooklyn and one on Long Island, to announce the switch and offer free cups of coffee to visitors.
