Inventure Foods, Inc. announced that it has been named to Forbes magazine's "America's Best Small Companies" list for 2012.
Forbes' annual list of "America's Best Small Companies" highlights the top 100 publicly traded companies with sales under $1 billion, which the publication ranks based on return on equity, sales growth and earnings growth over the past year and the past five years. Forbes' methodology also factors in each company's stock performance versus their peer group during the past 12 months.
"It's an obvious honor to be recognized by Forbes as one of the best small companies in America," said Terry McDaniel, chief executive officer of Inventure Foods, Inc., in a prepared statment. "I believe it speaks to the hard work and creativity of our associates who have been instrumental in developing innovative products and unique brands."
