Europe Plans To Standardize Front-Of-Pack Nutrition Labels

The U.K. government has said it will roll out a new voluntary front-of-pack nutrition labeling scheme by next summer to standardize labels across retailers and food manufacturers, according to foodnavigator.com. Full article.

Editor's Note: With Europe taking action to standardize labels, it won't be surprising for the U.S. to do something similar.

Front-of-pack labels are one suggested solution to the calorie disclosure requirements facing the vending industry.
