Restaurants Discuss Cutting Hours For Part-Time Employees As A Healthcare Cost Saving Measure

Many restaurants have announced they will limit part-time employees to working less than 30 hours a week if the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act takes effect, according to Nation's Restaurant News. Darden Restaurants Inc., which operates a number of chain restaurants, is already experimenting with cutting part-time employees to 29.5-hour or less. Full article.
