NAMA Launches Technews eNewsletter

Oct. 17, 2012

The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) has announced a monthly electronic newsletter launching this week featuring technology news for the vending and refreshment services industry.

"NAMA TechNews is designed to provide our membership with up-to-date, actionable information regarding the revolutionary innovation in our industry. By covering micro markets, payment technologies and industry news, our goal is to help our members navigate the industry's renaissance so that they can be better informed about the technology that can payoff for their businesses," said NAMA's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Mathews.

NAMA's TechNews will include topline summaries of stories from mainstream and trade media throughout the country.

"To get to the information they need quickly, the user-friendly format enables members to scan the top headlines in minutes. They can skim the articles that they want to know about in overall terms and read verbatim those stories most important to their business by clicking the link to the original," he continued.

"Moving forward, the NAMA staff will encourage feedback to modify stories and format, to ensure continuous improvement," he continued. "Our industry is working hard to innovate; at NAMA we're working to help provide a broad perspective in areas most important to our members and we know leveraging technology is universally critical to their success."
