New Orleans Food Truck Owners Seek Ease In Regulations

Food truck operators in New Orleans met with City Council members in hopes of having regulations eased for mobile vendors, according to NOLA.com. Mobile vendors are looking for the number of permits issued annually rise; the time a truck can stay in one spot extended; and the allowed hours of operation expanded. No opposition was expressed to easing the regulations, with much of the talk focused on how the city could give the burgeoning industry a boost. Full article
