Don Bates Becomes IT Director At Next Generation Vending

Next Generation Vending, LLC announced that Don Bates has assumed the role of IT director. Since joining Next Generation, Bates has been an integral leader in a number of projects that propel Next Generation to be a clear leader of the industry in technology deployment and process automation.

"Don has a proven track record within our industry and in our company as he has managed the rollout and integration of a majority of our vending technology," said John Hickey, vice president, operations, in a prepared statement. "This will be a smooth and transparent transition as Don has already been performing many of the associated duties of the role."

Bates will be assuming responsibility of all IT vendor relationships and will be responsible for all IT department functions. He and the IT team will be working very closely with the operations as well as corporate staff to improve access to data and automation of processes as the company continues to introduce new concepts to vending and expand and enhance the micro mart services.
