Apriva President Paul Coppinger To Discuss Cloud-Based Mobile Commerce At Mobile Payments Conference In New York

Apriva announced that Paul Coppinger, the company’s co-founder and president, will speak at the Mobile Payments Conference, scheduled for Oct. 10 to 11 at the Park Central Hotel, N.Y. Coppinger’s session, “Mobile Commerce Today: Let the Cloud Be Your Guide,” is set for Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11:40 a.m.

In his session, Coppinger is expected to discuss the benefits that cloud-based mobile commerce platforms deliver to merchants, consumers and providers. His presentation will include an overview of a cloud infrastructure, and describe how these offerings can support NFC, EMV and existing magnetic stripe payments. In addition, the presentation will explain how cloud technologies can effectively integrate a multitude of services, such as mobile marketing, loyalty programs, redemption, ticketing, and other fulfillment capabilities.

“For years, Apriva has been regarded as one of the most innovative—and successful—providers of wireless transaction solutions,” said Marla Ellerman, producer of the Mobile Payments Conference, and publisher of Mobile Marketing and Technology magazine, in a prepared statement. "We are delighted that Paul will speak at this year’s conference. His vision and insights on where mobile payments are heading should be extremely valuable for our audience,” she added.
