Durbin Amendment Has Saved Merchants 262 Million, Says Heartland Payment

One of the nation's payment processors, Heartland Payment Systems, reports a savings of $262 million for merchants under the Durbin Amendment, according to Pymnts.com. The legislation was designed to cap debit card fees. Convenience store merchants  received more than $55,000,000 in signature debit savings. Full article.
