Forest City Coffee, in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, announces its acquisition of Sun Express Coffee Supply Corp effective July 30, 2012.
"We couldn't be happier to include the company and its client base into our family," said C.R. Hall, president of Forest City Coffee, in a prepared statement. "Sun Express brings an incredible reputation, as well as a portfolio of thriving accounts into our business. This is a great addition for us."
Of the 400 clients included in the acquisition, Sun Express Coffee Supply Corp. counted many strong businesses as key customers in its portfolio.
This latest move also brings the total number of staff at Forest City Coffee up to seven. Former Sun Express owner, Brian Meisenbach, and the warehouse manager will remain with the company after the acquisition. Meisenbach will assume the role of area coffee manager.

Forest City Coffee is a strategic partner with Hall's Water, which owns and operates Culligan dealerships throughout Ohio.
