Harvard Adds New Non-Food Vending Machines

The first of two new Momba machines, which carry items like toothbrushes and ping pong balls was placed on Harvard's campus, according to Forbes magazine. The name Momba comes from "mom bot" because Momba plans to offer students the items they need, when they need them, much like a mom. Students will be able to pay for purchases with cash, debit, credit and campus currency. Each Momba machine costs around $5,000 and is part of the original $90,000 startup cost for the company.
