Rochester Institute Of Technology Bans Bottled Water

William Destler, president of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., sent an email stating that departments and campus groups can no longer spend university money on bottled water, according to the Democrat And Chronicle News. Bottled water will still be available for the short term, but will be phased out of the on-campus stores and vending machines once the current vending contract expires. Destler encourages the use of drinking water fountains around campus. Full article
