Green Tea Stimulates Brain Cells: Study

A recent study out of China shows that an organic chemical found in green tea could improve memory and spatial learning by stimulating the growth of brain cells, according to N.Y. Daily News. The study found the compound epigallocatechin-3 gallate or EGCG, found in green tea, helped trained mice better remember the location of platforms in a maze. Full article
