New York Lawmakers Urge Reclassification Of Greek Yogurt

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Richard Hanna both wrote letters to the U.S. Department of Agriculture asking for a change in the MyPlate nutrition guides which don't differentiate between Greek yogurt and traditional yogurt, according to WKTV News. Greek yogurt has double the protein, and the lawmakers believe it should be reclassified, in part, because it may give schools an affordable high protein choice. Full article.
