Reinhart Foodservice Louisiana, LLC, announced that it has entered into an agreement with P.A. Menard, Inc. to acquire certain assets of P.A. Menard's business in New Orleans, La. The transaction is expected to close on Aug. 13, 2012, and P.A. Menard’s operations will be subsequently integrated into Reinhart’s New Orleans distribution facility.
John Roussel, chief executive officer of Reinhart Foodservice, LLC, said in a prepared statement, “Acquiring P.A. Menard’s operations not only delivers on Reinhart’s growth strategy, it also enables us to better serve our chefcentric customer base in the New Orleans market with the addition of a full bakery, pizza and fine cheese line to an already strong product mix.”
Lenny Raymond, Reinhart’s New Orleans division president, said “We are proud to welcome the P.A. Menard associates into the Reinhart family, and together we will continue to ensure that our New Orleans customers get the right product at the right time.”
