New York City Beverage Proposal Would Cut 63 Calories Per Consumer, Researchers Say

A proposed ban on super-sized, sugary sodas in New York City would reduce consumers' caloric intake at fast-food chains by 63 calories per consumer, Brian Elbel, PhD, MPH, of New York University, and colleagues wrote in a letter to the editor published online in the New England Journal of Medicine, reported www.medpagetoday.com.
