New York City Proposes Restrictions On Food Trucks

The New York City public health department has proposed rules for food trucks, by which food carts would be limited in size to five feet by ten; Permit holders renewing their documents would be required to appear in person, and have their photo taken; overnight storage facilities would have to keep logs of which trucks come and go, and when; trucks and carts would be required to keep certain equipment on hand, depending on what kinds of foods are present, according to WNYC Public Radio.
