Editor’s Insight: Automated retailing is a unique field. The self serve experience changes the customer’s buying experience. It can create an element of novelty. This appears to be the case with the Sprinkles machine.

VendingMarketWatch commented in March when the first Sprinkles machine was introduced that the concept will have a future if it generates additional revenue for the company. Apparently it is doing so.
