Mooresville, N.C. Ends Contract With Piedmont Cheerwine Bottling Co.

The town of Mooresville, N.C. terminated a contract with Piedmont Cheerwine Bottling Co., saying it violated terms of 10-year deal whereby the recreation department would get new equipment and vending and Cheerwine would get most of the money from people buying their popular cherry soda beverage, according to WCNC-TV in Charlotte, N.C.
