National Automatic Merchandising Association Supervisor Development Program To Be Held Prior To April OneShow In Las Vegas

March 27, 2012

Business leaders who know they need to train their new/newly appointed supervisors but don’t have the time should take advantage of the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s (NAMA) supervisor development program. The interactive program is designed to provide the necessary tools and training for new supervisors, entry-level managers, mid-level supervisors and even non-supervisors who are accountable in their businesses and will be held prior to the NAMA OneShowSM in Las Vegas Monday through Wednesday, April 23 to 25, 2012.

The two and a half-day program is taught by industry professionals, business consultants and a university professor and focuses on a different topic each day. Day one will focus on personal skills including leadership development, decision-making, time management, and communications.  Day two will evaluate managing and coaching skills, including problem solving, project management and effective employee management. Day three focuses on customer service and personal selling skills.

Attendees will enjoy a host of extended sessions along with a project management workshop based on the needs of today's leaders. Mini-case studies, lively class discussion, interaction and brainstorming with other industry peers as well as group presentations address real work scenarios. Finally, attendees will create their very own personal action plan to ensure they can easily apply the various strategies when they return home.

Cost for the program has not increased from last year with member pricing still $1,299 for the first seat. Companies interested in sending more than one employee can take advantage of the $300 discount on each additional registrant from the company. The fee includes sessions led by industry leaders, several meals and breaks, learning materials and a graduation certificate.

Registration is now open at www.namaoneshow.org. All program registrants are eligible for a discount on their One Show admission fee of $49. The NAMA OneShow, the industry event that showcases what’s new in the vending, coffee service and foodservice management industry, will be held The Venetian Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Wednesday through Friday, April 25 to 27, 2012.

Contact Joann DeNardis at [email protected]  or 312-346-0370, ext. 229, for non-member pricing or for more information. Follow the OneShow on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news on the industry event.
