Avanti Markets Hosts 90 Operators In Dallas, Honors Five Star Food Service Inc. As Operator Of The Year

Avanti Markets hosted more than 90 members from all over the U.S. at its first annual operator meeting in Dallas, Texas.

Avanti Markets hosted more than 90 members from all over the U.S. at its first annual operator meeting in Dallas, Texas. The meeting kicked off with the introduction of an advisory board team made up of six operator members: Craig Kushner, Monumental Vending, Beltsville, Md.; Zane Power, Five Star Food Service Inc., Chattanooga, Tenn.; Lawrence Binsky, Advantage Food & Beverage, Columbus, Ohio; Kevin Van Hazel, Ace Vending Inc., Tempe, Ariz.; Scott Halloran, Trolley House Refreshments, Richmond, Va.; and Mark Hesch, A.H. Management, Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Some of the key topics that were discussed were: Avanti’s Current Growth, software and hardware enhancements, supplier programs, new operator features, and future enhancements.

The Avanti Operator of the Year award was presented to Five Star Food Service Inc., based in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Overwhelmingly, Avanti operators felt that the meeting was a great success, because it provided them with new information on the direction Avanti is going whether it is through sales, marketing or software advancements. Operators also found great value in networking opportunities through events and round table discussions with other operators across the U.S.
