Editor’s Insight: Here is another issue that the food industry will have to address. The “Just Label It” campaign has gained more than 850,000 signatures. There are many organizations and inviduals committed to this cause.

To date, the Food and Drug Administration claims that bioengineered foods do not differ from other foods in any meaningful way. Until the FDA changes its position, it makes no sense to require additional labelling. 03-16-12 By Elliot Maras
