NAMA Coffee Committee Chairman Howard Chapman will present a comprehensive strategic plan for the coffee service market. The plan is built around the pillars of education, networking and advocacy. It also includes business-building ideas, engaging ways to celebrate National Coffee Day and National Coffee Week, thoughts on how tea can increase a member's profitability, and more.
Cold beverage trends and strategic insights, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Representing the largest segment of food and beverage vending, cold beverages have accounted for 28 percent of total sales in our industry for the last five years. Ross Colbert, executive director and global strategist at RaboBank International, will share with attendees the current state of cold beverage vending, as well as what the industry will look like by 2017. The session will provide key insights into cold beverage trends and share the successful growth strategies employed by major players in the industry.
Consumer Engagement Through Social Media 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This interactive session, facilitated by Dan Avenick, director of vending strategy at Coca-Cola, will show attendees how to take advantage of social media networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn, to drive business growth, engage customers and create a differentiated consumer experience and relationship. The session will highlight both the benefits and challenges of social media. A panel discussion focused on case studies of successfully implemented social media programs is also included.
