InOne Technology, LLC, a subsidiary of Coin Acceptors, Inc, has been selected by Unified Strategies Group (USG) as a provider of vending machine controller boards, DEX audit boxes, and LED replacement lights. USG, a buying association comprised of over 700 vend operators with estimated annual revenues of $3 billion, represents nearly one-third of the U.S. vending market.
Gene Ostendorf, founder of InOne, said in a prepared statement, “InOne continues to build upon our synergistic relationship with Coinco with this latest provider agreement and is excited to bring our vending technology upgrades to the USG membership. USG is a very technologically savvy group of vend operators, so we are quite proud they chose the InOne product line.”
Under the agreement, USG will have complete access to InOne’s entire product line. USG members can purchase InOne vending machine controllers (VMC’s) to upgrade older machines to MDB protocol and enable the use of current, state-of-the art peripherals. DEX audit boxes provide DEX compatibility in machines that are not compatible with a VMC, and offer the benefit of cash and product accountability. InOne’s LED lights use just 23 watts, allowing USG’s customers to save up to 23% power savings over regular fluorescent bulbs.
Enabling DEX and MDB in vending machines is an important step in fleet modernization. DEX allows product auditing, cash accountability and pre-kitting, while MDB is the means in which various transactional devices operate and communicate with the brains of the vending machine. Utilizing both technologies makes vend operators more efficient in today’s competitive landscape.
