Attendees to the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) OneShowSM interested in learning proven techniques for improving sales performance should be sure to attend a special new session, “Coaching for Improved Sales Performance.TM The session is designed to help sales leaders develop a comprehensive approach to improving sales performance and cultivating and retaining sales talent.

The session equips the sales leader with tools to capitalize on coaching and cultivating sales people at all performance levels. Sales leaders will be trained to diagnose underlying reasons for poor sales performance, implement a system for observing and coaching specific selling situations, help sales people close business consistently to avoid the “roller coaster” sales pattern, and learn how to quickly turn around poor performing sales people. The session also includes a Personalized Leadership Style Traits analysis and recommendations report. 

The new session will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and 25 at the NAMA OneShow, the event that showcases everything new in the vending, coffee service and foodservice management industry. This year’s OneShow will be held April 25 to 27 at the Venetian/Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Session leader Jeb Blount is back by popular demand after his rousing presentation at CoffeeTea&Water 2011. He is one of the country’s most prominent experts in leadership and human behavior in the workplace and brings more than 20 years experience leading high-performing sales teams. As a sales rep, sales manager, director of sales, and vice president of sales, he was honored with 27 sales and leadership awards, including Account Executive of the Year, Sales Manager of the Year, National Account Manager of the Year, President’s Club and multiple Executive Leadership awards. He is also the founder of Sales Gravy, the world’s most visited sales website, and publisher of “Sales Gravy” magazine which is read by 270,000 sales leaders and sales professionals each month. 

The program features two days of classroom based instructions, a pre-course Leadership Style Assessment, three post-course online follow-up webinars. Attendees will receive the Certified Sales Coach (CSC) designation once they complete the course and exam.  The exclusive session has limited seats to provide one-on-one coaching with each attendee and early registration is recommended.  The special NAMA member fee is $999, and includes a discount price for the purchase of a OneShow badge of $49; all training materials including a copy of Blount’s book, “People Follow You”; and the Personalized Leadership Style Traits analysis and recommendations (a 47-page report).
