The National Automatic Merchandising Association’s (NAMA) Supervisor Development Program will next be offered in April at the organization’s OneShow. The program is designed to equip recently appointed supervisors and managers with all of the tools, goals and training they need to become effective team leaders who can use their new knowledge and skills to help push their companies into new levels of growth and prosperity.
The interactive program will be held in conjunction with the NAMA OneShow April 23 to 25, 2012 at the Venetian/Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. Attendees will learn to:
Create a personal action plan that will help identify the critical “take-aways” from each session and the overall program to help attendees implement value-added changes back at the office.
Discover their own style of leadership and the impact it has on the organization.
Understand the inevitable transitions that come with the new title, and how handling these changes is a predictable, normal part of the process.
Understand how to assess employee performance, make changes when needed, recognize when disciplinary action is needed and how to implement it.

Attendees will also engage with other industry peers through classroom discussion and interactive case studies while developing a new network.
